The Lekvattnet people's house association

The Lekvattnet people's house association was formed April 10, 1923. 
The association's objectives was to build an own house, as the assosciatio already had own property to build on
They began withan  apply for to Lekvattnets municipality about a loan on 500: - sek, sale of proportions became another source of income for the association. 
A these conditioned price of 5: - sek an alternative day work, however must one have bought at least  one proportion in cash in order to get more byg working. 
Everything rolled on with different contributions and incomes, and also volontary  work! 
At the end the house was finnished.

The premiere in the house became a summer party, at July 20, 1924.
The next chanlenge was to make the hoser userable also int the winter time.
When all each completed, the first indoor premier wasat  December 28, 1924.
The house have all since then functioned as a little all in all house, the has been carried out activities as leasing to parties, , the has also been movies, auctions, flea markets, lectures.
Leasing has also been done to birthday parties, weddings, m.m.
